Hello Friends and Family!

Here we are it's May already! Can you believe it? Well I don't have to much of an update on Colter, which is good. He had his cardiology appointment 2 weeks ago and no new developments there. We just kind of talked about future surgeries and what to expect in that aspect. So far Dr. Hardy thinks his conduit is going to last quite a while (knock on wood) he said by the looks of it his conduit is calcifying slowly. Ahhhh now that's some good news. We also talked about Colter's life and he said that usually with Truncus if the baby survives the first year and if they have a good truncal valve (our aortic) they have a pretty good shot at life. More good news right:) With all the blessings with Colter's health it just reminds you how quickly life can change in a matter of moments.

The last few weeks have been pretty crazy. Which is why I haven't updated. Unfortunately Tyler received news that Rod his father "Papa" was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer that has moved to his brain. He's started his radiation therapy and I believe that will wrap up on the 13th. Still unsure of the kind of chemotherapy treatment they will chose, their waiting results of the biopsy to see if the cancer is a mutated cell. I did make sure with Tyler that it was ok for me to post this in my blog. In our experience with Colter we've seen the power of prayer work and so I'm just asking that while your saying your prayers tonight and the weeks to come please pray for Papa. I just pray that the Lord will continue to give him the strength he needs, and that the Lord is with Rod, Ryan, Teresa and Tyler.

Thanks everyone! God Bless

Bobbie

PS. I updated the fundraising page with my current miles.
